The first step, chemical treatment, breaks the solids and liquids apart by automatically adding chemical pre-treatments such as pH adjusters, polymers or clays. The second step, mechanical filtration, physically removes the precipitated solid particles from the sludge. The RGF Thermo-Oxidizer is controlled by a combination PLC and UL/FM approved microprocessor based Flame Safeguard Controller. Visual confirmation of the Thermo-Oxidizer status is provided by LCD displays, indicator lights, and digital temperature displays. The 2,500,000 BTU stainless steel burner nozzle provides the energy necessary for the waste combustion. A Teflon air diaphragm pump pressurizes the wastewater for injection into the air atomization nozzles. These nozzles incorporate a PLC controlled pneumatic cleanout system. The waste stream is thereby atomized directly into the combustion chamber where it is completely oxidized. The TO 150 incorporates an outer shell which acts as a preheat plenum reducing thermal loss and increasing efficiency.
RGF's Oil Water Separators are designed to process wastewater containing free and emulsified oils using a combination of five separation technologies to separate and store the waste oils. RGF’s Oil Water Separators efficiently separate crude oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, vegetable oil along with the majority of waste oil products from wastewater and wash water. Suitable for mobile operation, RGF’s Oil Water Separators are fully transportable and easily set-up for rapid response operations. RGF’s simple, small footprint systems are light weight and constructed entirely of non-ferrous materials for long life and ease of maintenance. Fully automatic, the RGF Oil Water Separators are capable of treating up to 50 gallons per minute, removing free oils to less than 5 ppm.
Since 1985, RGF has been gathering data on the applications of UF, MS, NF and R/O membranes for wastewater treatment. We've learned that there is no one magic membrane. Each membrane and manufacturer have unique properties and applications. Our proprietary Engineering Program maintains a data bank containing extensive documentation on successful applications. In addition, RGF's R&D group has developed a proprietary, high flow membrane specifically for wash water applications.
With adequate wastewater storage and 24 hours/day 7 days/week unattended operation, a 30gph unit will eliminate over 5000 gallons of wastewater and over 500 gallons of waste oil/week.
